El Vaio Z es ordenador portátil mejor y más nuevo de Sony, creemos que el dispositivo es atractivo, pero tenemos nuestras reservas sobre el sistema de dock y el precio.
El diseño es elegante y estilizado, sin innecesarias características llamativas. Es una mirada limpia y simple con toques agradables, como el hecho de la parte inferior del ordenador portátil angula hacia arriba mientras se abre la pantalla. Es un poco difícil de creer que la Sony Vaio Z sea tan delgada y ligera, ya que cuenta con tan sólo 16.65mm y 1,2 kg. Esto hace que sea tanto más delgado y más ligero que el Macbook Air de Apple.
La Vaio Z es prometedora es una ultraportátil que cuenta con lo siguiente:
- Pantalla de 13″ con 1600×900 de resolución (con 1920×1080 opcional)
- Intel HD Graphics 3000 como tarjeta de video
- 256 GBs de disco duro SSD
- Core i3
- 7 horas de batería
- Puerto “Light Peak” (Thunderbolt)

Lo más interesante, es que además de la ultraportátil, Sony está lanzando un “Media Dock”, que pueden ver al lado derecho de la imagen. Este Dock, una vez conectada a la laptop, nos da una tarjeta de video AMD Radeon 6650M con 1 GB de RAM, puertos USB 3.0, además de un lector Blu-Ray.
